Infinix Note 14 Pro Specifications
Design
When it comes to design, the phone is curved on both the back and the front, giving it a premium finish without any downsides.
The volume rocker and power button are located on the right side of the phone, and the SIM slot is dual nano. On the upper side of the phone, there’s an IR blaster, meaning this phone can act as a remote control for any AC or TV.
This phone features excellent speakers, and it’s surprising to see an AC included in this price segment. Another surprising element could be mentioned. As for the phone’s haptics, they are pretty standard, and it also comes with an IP53 rating.
Display
The display also adds an interesting touch, as it measures 6.78 inches. It features a 3D curved OLED and refreshes at 120 Hertz. Just to check its brightness, I took it out in sunlight. The brand claims it reaches a brightness of 1300 nits, and indeed, it looks great.
Camera
Friends, the camera setup here is a 108+2+2 setup. This means there’s a single functional camera which is the main one, and surprisingly, it’s capturing a lot of photos well. Considering the price, the color retention is actually good, and even when I talk about a variety of skin tones, it handles them well.
Simply put, according to the price, selfies are good, and even if I show you an example of good video, it can record in 2K resolution from both the front and back. But video isn’t the best part of this phone, so all things considered.
Battery
Now let’s talk about the core part. The highlight of this phone, in my opinion, is its battery department. Highlighting this aspect is crucial because some features in this price segment are completely first-time experiences, like basic things.
Let me tell you, it has a 5000mAh battery, and this phone supports 45W wired charging. At the same time, it also supports 20W wireless charging, as I showed you in the box contents. This case, as shown, is a game-changer for this phone because it introduces magnetic wireless charging support, which is very interesting. Now, after attaching this case, the charger stays fixed, which is wireless.
You also get reverse wireless charging, meaning you can charge another phone with this one. So, basically, I can charge another phone wirelessly using this phone, as the other phone also supports wireless charging. So, in essence, I want to say that a lot of work has been done in the battery department.
Software
Clearly, in this phone, you get Android 14 based on Android One. Infinix.in has tried to provide a clean software experience, meaning they have comparatively reduced pre-installed apps, and the ones provided can be uninstalled.
Performance
When it comes to performance, I don’t think the processor’s peak performance will be considered the best in this price segment. In this phone, you get a MediaTek 7020 processor, which is like an average processor in this price range.
For example, if we talk about the N22 score, it comes around 4.74 lakhs, and the Geekbench multicore score is around 2300. From these benchmarks, you can understand that if you use social media a lot and also use multiple apps, this phone will handle it, but as soon as you look for the highest gaming settings in this phone, you won’t find them, like in COD, you only get high settings or else.
