WhatsApp is improving the user experience of the platform and has initiated testing several new features. WhatsApp will soon roll out a new audio call bar feature that is being tested to improve call navigation.
Wabetainfo, which discovered the feature, noted that it added more accessibility and power to outgoing audio calls. A limited number of customers have access to the feature at the moment.
According to some reports, only WhatsApp users with the new version of the Google Play Beta Programme are receiving these updates.
What is the use of WhatsApp New Audio Call Bar Feature?
Customers can multitask within the app more successfully thanks to the improved call bar. The updated call bar, which is located at the top of the interface and provides simple access to control the outgoing call, displays when a connection is connected and the user minimizes it.
The redesigned call bar makes returning to the call easier than in the previous version, which required tapping the green status bar. As an alternative to returning to the call screen, users may now mute or stop a call right from the call bar, saving them time and effort.
The audio call bar feature is reportedly becoming more widely available to beta testers who have downloaded the most recent version of WhatsApp for Android from the Google Play Store, according to Wabetainfo. On both Android and iOS, a large number of users might receive it earlier.

What Other Update is WhatsApp Releasing?
WhatsApp is also releasing an update for its in-app camera in the meanwhile. Select iOS beta testers now have the option to zoom in and out of the platform, as reported by WABetaInfo. The update attempts to improve the camera experience by making it easier to use and more handy, enabling users to easily record and share their favorite moments.
Version 24.9.10.75 of the software contains the zoom capability. With this new feature, beta testers may now effortlessly alter the magnification level instead of needing to hold down the camera button and swipe up or down, as was the case with earlier versions.
